Shipment or mailing outside the U.S. 48 contiguous states.

Express or priority-type shipments.
· UPS will be used for all shipments or mailing.
It will be used exclusively for merchandise.
· U.S. Postal Service (USPS) Book Rate mailing (i.e., Media
Mail) will be used for packages containing publications, videos, and
audiotapes. (It is not
applicable to merchandise).
The shipping and handling fee is included on the invoice.
Merchandise
for Program Sponsors
When planning
for a program presentation, sponsoring parishes/congregations should
preorder and pay for the merchandise in sufficient time to allow for
delivery before the event. The
ministry has a no-return policy (except for defective material).
Consequently, unsold merchandise is not to be returned to the
Marriage Enrichment Office. It
is to be retained by the parish/congregation for their next program
presentation.
The package (box) of merchandise for sale
is prepared
and shipped by the Marriage Enrichment Office.
The Office honors requests by parishes/congregations for additions
or deletions from the basic package.
Also placed in the package is a list of the merchandise (on the Materials Order and Program Fees form, the shipping and
receiving information, and the return policy.
The invoice is the Materials Order and Program Fees
form.
There is one exception to these merchandise purchase guidelines. This
involves the situation where the sponsor picks up and returns the
merchandise from/to the
Marriage Enrichment Office. In
this case the merchandise is available on a consignment basis.
Consignment means that a merchandise package is picked up by the
sponsor (e.g., parish/congregation) before a program presentation and the
merchandise is paid for after the presentation rather than before the
presentation. After the
presentation, the parish/congregation must return to the Marriage
Enrichment Office the unsold merchandise and the money from the sales.
If any items were damaged by the sponsor, they cannot be returned
and the sponsor is responsible for payment.
The guidelines for returning these items are as follows:
o The return must be by the Monday following the
program presentation for those in the Albuquerque area.
o The return must be by the Friday following the
program presentation for those outside the Albuquerque area.
o If returns are not received on time, the parish/congregation
is required to purchase the entire inventory.
