Ministry Initiatives Marriage
Enrichment is in the process of reinventing itself in order to reach more
couples. Several
new initiatives are underway this year.
First, a new program, called the “Marriage Enrichment Experience,”
is being developed.
It will be a Friday evening and Saturday enrichment program for married
couples. Child
care will be emphasized.
This new program provides an additional option to the highly successful
Weekend and Retreat programs.
Secondly, a new deanery option for program sponsorship is being
offered that should involve more parishes.
This is in addition to the usual parish sponsorship option. The
shortened program schedule coupled with child care and more parishes
participating should encourage more couple involvement.
Weekend Program - Update on Talks The Marriage Enrichment Weekend program talks on Problem Marriages and Challenges in Marriage have been updated. The introductions were revised to help the presentation teams distinguish between the purpose and content of each talk, and to expand the number of team couples willing to present the Problem Marriages talk.
Marriage
Enrichment Journey ® The
ministry now has programs that cover the life-span of marriage.
They educate youth on dating and healthy relationships, prepare engaged
couples for their vocation in marriage, and enrich the lives of married couples.

Fundraising Your financial donations are needed to sustain this new ministry initiative. As you may know, we are 100 percent volunteer, with no paid staff. Every dollar contributed provides $21.00 in services. It is the best donation bang-for-your-buck around. There would be no Marriage Enrichment ministry without the hundreds of couples who volunteer their time and talent. In addition, it takes your treasure for this ministry to exist.
